I agree completely Rogo. We can’t get our hopes up yet, but it is good to see a hitting prospect that at least looks decent at the plate.

Laird is the go-to-catcher in my opinion.

Thanks for the kind words, Joe. I always advise folks to swallow, rather than spit.

I just hope today doesn’t get people’s hopes too high on young Mr. Avila. Don’t want to put extra pressure on the kid.

I didn;t get to see Avila in action today but i did listen to a few innings of the game and Dickerson and Price couldn’t say enough good things about the kid.

This team will win this division if Porcello keeps this up. All Washburn has to do is be decent… and it’s virtually a given Edwin and JV will be solid.

Things looking pretty good right now.
