I'm ok with the deal Everett got just because it was for only $1.5 MM. I agree that Dlugach could probably do just as well overall as Everett (better hitter, slightly worse defender), but I think for the price, I'm happy they went with Everett instead of Crosby. It seems to me that Dlugach can give you what Everett can so I didn't see the necessity of bringing Adam back. DD obviously feels differently.
