Seriously though I agree with you about Guillen's defense, it's not good at all. In a perfect world, Guillen would DH everyday and hopefully stay healthy enough to produce like he did a few years ago. The roster as it stands now actually reminds me of the start of the 2006 season, drastically right handed. Guillen will be needed for his LH bat if nothing else, but if they could DH him instead of playing the OF, that would be a lot better for the Tigers. Don’t hold back, Bob. I'm sick to death of these millionaire cry babies. I was hoping DD was going to be able to unload this malcontent, but no such luck, yet. Carlos's ridiculous contract is just one more ludicrous misadventure of profligate spending by DD. It's probably because of Guillen's contract that teams are reluctant to put in a bid for him.
