Carlos Guillen Activated from DL

Just in from the Tigers official twitter: second baseman Carlos Guillen has been activated from the disabled list this afternoon, as expected.

One would assume he will be in the lineup tonight when the Tigers take on the A’s at the CoPa. Just guessing here, but look for Guillen to slot into the six hole in the order.

In order to make room for Guillen on the active roster, the Tigers also announced that they have optioned the contract of second baseman Danny Worth to AAA Toledo. Again, as expected.
