Brad Penny’s Fiancée, Karina Smirnoff, to Pose in Playboy

According to a tweet from Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, Karina Smirnoff of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” will appear on the cover and nude inside the May issue of the world-famous men’s magazine.

Why is this news? Well, for one, she’s smoking hot and for another thing, she just so happens to be engaged to tonight’s starting pitcher for our boys from Motown, Brad Penny. I wonder if John Keating will have the stones to ask Penny about it after his outing tonight in Baltimore? Somehow I doubt it.

If nothing else, I’m sure penny isn’t thrilled with the timing of the announcement as he prepares to face the Orioles. It would have been much better if this story came out tomorrow as at least then he’d have four days between starts to address the questions. I can only assume that Penny is okay with his soon-to-be wife baring it all for the whole world to see. The couple is currently planning their wedding for October or November, according to the Free Press article above.

Let’s hope they opt for November. Hopefully the groom will be a little busy in October.
