MCB Seeking Writers

Over the past year, Motor City Bengals has been experiencing tremendous growth as part of the ever growing Fansided Network. The time has come again for us to expand our ranks within the site, as a couple of our writers have parlayed their experience at MCB into other opportunities. This of course, leaves an opportunity out there for the right person(s) that would like to try their own hand at writing for one of the most visited Tiger sites around.

The ideal candidates will possess a good command of the written word, the willingness to be active in promoting Motor City Bengals through social media, and the ability to produce not only quality content, but a minimum of 2-3 articles per week. Ideal candidates should also have a strong knowledge of the Tigers, the A.L. Central, and a general knowledge of advanced metrics.

While the position is not a paid position, many of those who have written for MCB have moved on to paid opportunities, so the position is ideal for aspiring writers who have a love for the Tigers as well as baseball. We at Motor City Bengals are committed to the development of it’s writing team, and providing opportunities within the Fansided Network for it’s writers who show an ability to excel.

There is no specific experience required, but applicants will have to provide a writing sample when they apply through Fansided.com.
