Major League Baseball had previously set the dates for the World Series, but they have today announced start times for all seven games.

The quick version: all games start at 8:00 PM (eastern) and will be broadcast by Fox.

The slightly longer version:

Game One: Wednesday, October 24: 8:07 PM at NL Champion

Game Two: Thursday, October 25: 8:07 PM at NL Champion

Game Three: Saturday, October 27: 8:07 PM at Detroit

Game Four: Sunday, October 28: 8:15 PM at Detroit

Game Five: Monday, October 29: 8:07 PM at Detroit*

Game Six: Wednesday, October 31: 8:07 PM at NL Champion*

Game Seven: Thursday, November 1: 8:07 PM at NL Champion*

*If necessary, of course.

Of particular good news to Detroiters: no late games, even for potential games taking place in San Francisco. I couldn’t take the combination of high-stress games and sleep deprivation.

We still don’t know who the opponent will be, but we know the dates, the times, and the Tigers’ starting rotation.
