If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Actually, we pretty much have know that this will be the lineup versus right-handed pitchers nine times out of ten. The primary differences we’ll see this year will come when a left-handed pitcher toes the bump for the opposition. On those occasions we’ll see Andy Dirks lifted for Matt Tuiasosopo (for now) and Brayan Pena in for Alex Avila (most times). Other than that, though, there are seven guys that will be in the lineup pretty much every day.

Jason Beck has today’s lineup which, as I mentioned, is the same one we saw on Monday:

"TIGERS1. Austin Jackson, CF2. Torii Hunter, RF3. Miguel Cabrera, 3B4. Prince Fielder, 1B5. Victor Martinez, DH6. Andy Dirks, LF7. Jhonny Peralta, SS8. Alex Avila, C9. Omar Infante, 2BP: Anibal Sanchez"

Kevin Correia (RHP) takes the mound for the Twins. Beck includes carer batting lines against him for each of the Tigers’ hitters (click the link to see them), but I omitted them because they’re probably more meaningless than spring training statistics. Use them for entertainment value/interest factor only.

The Minnesota Twins will also be using the same lineup as they did on opening day.
