Jose Alvarez got the start for the Mud Hens, but struggled through four innings (7 H, 1 BB, 1 HR, 3 ER, 1 K), but Luke Putkonen (3 IP, 2 K, 1 BB, 0 ER) and Jose Ortega (1 IP, 3 K, 1 BB, 0 ER) combined to do a nice job in relief.

Quintin Berry doubled, Nick Castellanos had a hit and a walk, and Argenis Diaz singled twice. Kevin Russo and Bryan Holaday also had hits. Castellanos is now hitting .300 after a slow first few games, but his .304 OBP isn’t very good; he’s starting to swing the bat though.

Toledo falls to 1-4 on the season.
