Today isn’t the last day of the exhibition season, two more remain following today, but it does appear to be the last tuneup contest with live local TV coverage. It’s the sixth and final scheduled game against the Atlanta Braves (sick of them yet?), with the Detroit Tigers holding a 3-1-1 advantage.

With only four days remaining before Opening Day, the Tigers are just trying to get everyone out of town healthy, and in good shape.

When We Last Met

The Tigers were pounded by the Braves 12-3 just two days ago. Starter Rick Porcello got knocked around a bit, giving up six earned runs on 10 hits, and neither the offense nor the bullpen backed him up very much.

Also, Jason Heyward launched this bomb off of him.

Lineup

Max Scherzer is scheduled to start for the Tigers. His next outing will come on April 2, the second day of the regular season.
