The Major League Baseaball season begins in earnest tonight when the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the San Diego Padres in ESPN’s first Sunday Night Baseball telecast of the year (8 PM). 25 other teams will open their season on Monday, and two will play their first game on Tuesday. We can now count down to the season in hours instead of days!

With the season upon us, the MCB Staff sat down to put our predictions on paper — division, league championship, World Series, and major awards — so that we can be properly laughed at when October rolls around and we’re proven to be exactly wrong about everything.

Baseball and predictions: they’re rarely correct, but always fun to do! It’s MLB Opening Night!
