When We Last Met
The Detroit Tigers had opportunity after opportunity to score runs last night, yet went into the ninth inning with rookie pitcher Kyle Lobstein on the hook for the loss after only giving up two runs in five and a third innings. The Tigers came away victorious after a three run bomb by J.D. Martinez to give them a 4-2 lead which Joe Nathan protected and saved in the bottom of the ninth.
