More from Detroit Tigers News

When We Last Met: The Detroit Tigers were stymied by Ricky Nolasco and the Twins last night, until a ninth inning home run from J.D. Martinez gave the Tigers the lead. Unfortunately, Joe Nathan blew his seventh save of the season and the Twins walked off, devastating the Tigers and the fan-base.

Starting Pitching

David Price(14-11, 3.26 ERA) got the win in his last start against Cleveland. He went seven and two thirds innings, gave up eight hits, no walks, and one earned run while striking out seven. Kyle Gibson(11-11, 4.58 ERA) is 1-2 with a 7.24 ERA in his career against the Detroit Tigers.
