Game Preview

The Detroit Tigers will attempt to improve upon their 10-15-2 spring training mark as they take on the perennial National League Central contending St. Louis Cardinals.

When We Last Met

The Tigers have played the Cardinals just once this spring training, losing, 1-0. Detroit hasn’t played St. Louis in a regular season series since 2012 when the Tigers took two out of three from the Cardinals in late June.

Meanwhile, Lance Lynn, the projected starter for the Cardinals, has pitched just one inning this spring, allowing one run on no hits and two walks.
