Detroit Tigers baseball is back on Tuesday. The team continues the 2017 regular season on the road in Houston against the Astros. Here’s what you need to know to watch.

Detroit Tigers players will seek a rebound win on Tuesday after dropping the first game of the series in Houston.

Facing a strong Astros unit, Detroit managed just one hit off a quartet of pitchers consisting of Brad Peacock, Chris Devenski, Will Harris and Ken Giles.

Mikie Mahtook registered the only hit for the Tigers, as Miguel Cabrera and Tyler Collins also drew walks.

Detroit’s offense couldn’t support a stellar outing from starting pitcher Michael Fulmer.

The reigning American League Rookie of the Year struck out four while scattering eight hits, a walk and a run over seven strong innings.

He was replaced by Shane Greene, who also showed well, in the eighth. In an inning of work, the reliever worked around a hit and a walk to punch out three batters, mixing in some nasty off-speed pitches in the process.

The Tigers will certainly be looking for a better offensive showing on Tuesday night, as the team continues their series against the Astros.
