Detroit Tigers baseball is back on Tuesday. The team continues the 2017 regular season at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game.

Detroit Tigers players will look to continue the team’s winning ways on Tuesday in the opener of a two-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Tigers previously salvaged a three-game series in Boston with an 8-3 win to avoid a sweep.

Daniel Norris got the win, giving up seven hits, three walks and two runs in five innings. He struck out six.

Elsewhere, the team’s bullpen limited Boston to just one run despite surrendering five hits and three walks.

Shane Greene, Francisco Rodriguez, Alex Wilson and Justin Wilson combined for four strikeouts on the day.

It was particularly encouraging to see Rodriguez strike out a pair despite allowing two base runners.

Offensively, Justin Upton led the way for the Tigers, with three hits, five RBI and a run scored. His grand slam in the fifth inning was his 13th home run of the year.

Upton will now face the franchise that drafted him.

In 140 plate appearances against the Diamondbacks, Upton is a .305 hitter with 22 RBI, 20 walks, nine home runs, seven doubles and a pair of stolen bases.

His on-base percentage sits at .407, while his slugging percentage and OPS check in at .593 and 1.000.
