Here at the Corner, we round up Detroit Tigers news and rumors around the Tigers blogosphere so that you don’t spend hours surfing the web searching.

The Detroit Tigers are looking to bounce back in 2018, according to USA Today. They note the arrival of OF Leonys Martin and SP Mike Fiers. They also think you should keep an eye on Miguel Cabrera, Nicholas Castellanos, and Michael Fulmer.

USA Today broke down the fantasy baseball expectations for the Detroit Tigers. They also noted prospect 3B Jeimer Candelario as a sleeper and everyday third baseman for 2018.

In years past the Detroit Tigers would make big name free agent signings during the off-season. Such hasn’t been the case this off-season as the Tigers begin their rebuild. SB Nation’s Bless You Boys looks at what would happen if they signed one anyway. Spoiler Alert: It doesn’t end well.

Detroit Tigers prospect Christin Stewart has one goal in mind as the Tigers go through their rebuild. Get to the show and stay there. Per Jason Beck of MLB.com:

"“You know there’s an opportunity right there,” Stewart said. “You play pro ball to try to get to the big leagues, try to get to The Show. That’s my goal every day, try to get to The Show and stay there. I don’t want to get there and bounce around. I want to get there and be able to stick. That’s what I’m working towards every day.”"

The Detroit Tigers are gearing up for their annual winter caravan. The caravan, of course, is a build-up to the annual TigersFest at Comerica Park next week.
