Last night, Issac Paredes graduated from the Detroit Tigers prospects list and Daz Cameron hit his first major league home run. All the good vibes spread to the minor leagues as Spencer Torkelson was a double shy of the cycle.

Detroit Tigers Minor League Report for June 11th.

Triple-A: Toledo Mud Hens (17-16)

Toledo pulled a game over .500 with a 10-6 win for their third straight win. Kody Clemens went 3-for-4 as he was just a home run shy of the cycle.  Jacob Robson continues to hit, going 2-fo-4 and Yariel Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Aderlin Rodríguez added a pair of singles to also go 2-for-4.

Drew Hutchinson pitched six innings, allowing four runs on four hits. Miguel Del Pozo and Ian Krol each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

Double-A: Erie SeaWolves (22-11)

The Patriots got home runs from Oswald Peraza and Oliver Dunn as Dunn’s three run shot in the 4th would be the last runs scored and it was enough to hold off Erie 5 to 2. John Valente continues his hot week, going 3-for-4 and both Riley Greene and Ryan Kreidler each went 1-for-4 and right-hander Ruben Garcia, who was called up from West Michigan, made his Erie debut, pitched two innings of work, allowing a pair of hits, walking one and striking out one.

High-A: West Michigan Whitecaps (18-15)

General Manager Al Avila spoke yesteday to the press about Dillon Dingler and Spencer Torkelson being moved soon.

The fans and both Dingler and Torkelon responded accordingly.

Then Dingler responded as well.

Eric De La Rosa and Jose King also both provided sparks as well in the 9-4 victory over Lansing as each of them went 2-for-4. King should of had the third home run of the game but the umpire ruled it as a ground rule double.

Lansing headed into the 6th with a 4-3 lead before the Whitecaps put up six runs. The bullpen tossed three scoreless innings, including Zack Hess, who struck out two in the ninth.

Low-A: Lakeland Flying Tigers (14-20)

Despite the tough loss to Dunedin 8 to 7, there was a lot of good things to take out of the game yesterday as Jose De La Cruz hit his first professional home run and Alvaro Gonzalez, who like Colt Keith, made his Lakeland debut, went 4-for-4. Keith went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs and Jimmy Kerr drove in a pair.

In another rehab start, Joey Wentz went four innings, allowing five runs over six hits and struck out seven.
