Sunday's MLB action will begin with an American League matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox.

The Tigers have a chance to win the series after beating the BoSox by a score of 6-2 in their second game on Saturday. Can they close out the series at noon today? I think they can.

Let's dive into the odds and then I'll break down my best bet.

Tigers vs. Red Sox odds, run line, and total

Tigers vs. Red Sox prediction and pick

Eduardo Rodriguez has been on fire this season. Not only is he the best pitcher for the Tigers, but he's been one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball. He sports a stellar 2.75 ERA and is coming off a performance against the Twins where he pitched 7.0 scoreless innings en route to a 6-0 victory.

Now, he gets to face a Boston offense that has gone cold lately. Over the past 14 days, the Red Sox rank just 22nd in OPS at .681 while batting only .234 during that time span.

Kutter Crawford gets the start for the Red Sox and he's been oddly terrible at home this season. He has a stellar 2.13 ERA on the road, but that number drops all the way to 6.23 at home. He has also yet to record a win while pitching at Fenway.

All of that leads me to backing the Tigers as road underdogs this afternoon.
