The 2010 Fan’s Scouting Report data has been tallied, and Brandon Inge rates as the top fielder on the team. You can read more on the rating process here, and some further explanation here.

According to the rating from the fans, which are converted to runs, Brandon saved 16 more runs this year than the average third baseman would have. That total ties him with Ryan Zimmerman as the third best third baseman in the Major Leagues; only Evan Longoria (20 runs above average) and Adrian Beltre (17 runs above average) were ranked higher.

Austin Jackson was the other Tiger with a superb rating. His eight runs above average ties him with Michael Bourn and B.J. Upton for second place among all Major League center fielders; Seattle’s Franklin Gutierrez took home the top spot.
