Miguel Cabrera Graces Cover of MSP Tigers Annual

As I mentioned earlier, the 2011 Maple Street Press Tigers Annual will hit newsstands on March 1. Kurt Mensching of Bless You Boys fame headed up the project and he has revealed the table of contents.

This project features two pieces authored by yours truly as well as one from our own Matt Snyder. You’ll also find tons of minor league features, prospect rankings by the Bless You Boys staff, interviews with Jacob Turner and Phil Coke, and historical pieces by Tom Gage, Ian Casselberry, and Lee Panas. Tigers second baseman Will Rhymes even chipped in with a feature on… Will Rhymes.

It’s 128 pages of Tigers coverage unlike what you’ll find anywhere else. This book was written by the fans for the fans. You’ll see no advertisements cluttering the pages, only professional photography and features on your Detroit Tigers.

If you haven’t done so already, make sure you pre-order your copy from the MSP website. Otherwise, you have to hope it’s not all sold out when you hit up your favorite news racks.
