The Detroit offense woke up in Game 4 in a big way, plating seven runs off of Boston starter Jake Peavy, en route to a 7-3 win that evened the ALCS at two games apiece. So we’re now in a best of three series (with two in Boston) with Anibal Sanchez, Max Scherzer, and Justin Verlander scheduled to go for the Tigers. There are worse situations to be in.

Sanchez is scheduled to go up against Boston’s Jon Lester, but weather could be a factor in this one. It’s looking like it will be a cold, damp night in Detroit — not necessarily ideal baseballing conditions.
