According to multiple reports on Twitter, the Detroit Tigers have released TV and radio broadcast dates for the 2014 Grapefruit League campaign, which begins in late February (I guess we can say “next month” already!).
Detroit #Tigers announce that 22 spring training games will air on 97.1 FM and WXYT 1270 AM. Four will be on Fox Sports Detroit.

There are 33 scheduled spring games on the Tigers’ schedule (two appear to be split squad days), so we’ll be able to listen along to roughly 70% of the spring action. Lynn Henning has the dates of the Fox Sports Detroit TV broadcasts:
Tigers just announced Spring Training broadcast schedules, including four televised games: March 10, March 13, March 23, March 27.

In addition to the FSD games, ESPN is currently slated to air two Tigers games this spring, Monday March 24 and Tuesday March 25. MLB Network usually will cover a few games as well, but that information does not appear to be available at this time.
Pitchers and catchers are due to report in mid-February. The team’s first game is the traditional exhibition with Florida Southern on February 25.
