The Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals met zero times from the start of Spring Training up until this past Thursday, spanning 16 games. They played on Friday, and will face-off in a home-and-home set today and tomorrow. Get used to the Nats. Over the Grapefruit League’s final 15 games, they play Washington five times, including three times this week and in an Exhibition game in Nationals Park two days before Opening Day.

Chances are we’ll see Doug Fister in at least one of these games!

The Nationals will have a split squad with the other half of their team traveling to Fort Myers to face the New York Mets.
