After a rain out ruined the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Joker Marchant Stadium, the Detroit Tigers will split the team in half with some staying put in Lakeland to face the Toronto Blue Jays and the other half heading down the Sunshine State to play the New York Mets in Port St. Lucie. This will be the Tigers’ final split squad of the season.
Detroit will then take a much needed rest with a day off from all games on Wednesday.
