Detroit Tigers: Hurt fan, Ejected Ausmus, Frustrated Norris

To say the Detroit Tigers had a rough Friday is an understatement.

Right-hander Justin Verlander pitched well for a sixth straight start but again the Tigers failed to capitalize. Detroit lost to Texas, 2-0, on Friday night, and during the loss, the umpires ejected manager Brad Ausmus for arguing a replay challenge.

Off the field, it wasn’t much better for the Tigers. Newly acquired lefty Daniel Norris’ injury is reportedly worse than initially anticipated, and he might not pitch again this season.

it wasn’t even a good night for Tigers fans. A ball struck a woman sitting behind home plate in the side of the head. The game was stopped for nearly 10 months mutes while the medical staff attended to her. She eventually went to the hospital.
