MLB Power Rankings Week 26: 2015 Season Wrap Up

So we have reached the end. For Detroit Tigers, that’s probably a relief. For fan bases of 10 other baseball franchises, the new season begins in about a week. But there are still Wild Card berths and division titles to play for this final week of the regular season.

As for the MLB Power Rankings here at MCB, this will be our last one. We wanted to take this time to thank the fans for following along this season. You guys made this list fun to put together every week.

Once again, we would like readers to know that these power rankings are based on just one opinion, and the difference of opinion between readers and fans is what makes the power rankings so fun to discuss. Please let us know how we did in the comments section below.

For our list, we took into account record, strength of schedule, run differential and other human elements such as injuries.

As always just because a team is on 8-2 hot streak, they don’t automatically jump to the highest spots. It’s like my high school coach always used to say, “A team is never as good as its best win, and it’s never as bad as it’s worse loss.”

Lastly, readers should know, the rankings are serious, but the comments for each team are generally not. For the last week, there are some more serious statement on this list, but still definitely a lot of jokes. There are so many baseball articles analyzing the most small details on the web, we wanted to start out the week with a little fun.

Here are MCB’s MLB Power Rankings for the final week of the 2015 baseball season.
