Detroit Tigers baseball will be back in just eleven days! MLive.com has an early look at all 62 players heading to Lakeland this spring. The trucks and equipment are officially heading south.

Alex Faedo is the top name of NRI’s heading to Lakeland this spring. He also just had his slider named as one of the “best tools” in the minor leagues by MLB.com.

Miguel Cabrera is looking to rebound in 2018, and he might do that in the steps of Jim Thome. Alex Wilson is looking to take the fifth spot in the starting rotation. He gets the opportunity to compete for it during Spring Training.

The Detroit Tigers are seeing opening day tickets selling at a slow pace, according to the Detroit News. That means now is the perfect time to get a seat for Opening Day.

With Opening Day approaching, the staff at Bless You Boys debates who they’re most excited to see play for the Tigers in 2018. They also have a new feature looking back at Detroit Tigers history. The first piece they’re doing is on Bill Freehan. He was the catcher and key member of the 1968 World Series win.
