The Tigers southpaws have had bad luck this week. 3 of the lefties have been injured and all will get statuses updates today, writes Evan Woodbery. One of them was Travis Wood. Wood suffered a torn ACL, and is weighing his surgery options. He will be out for the season.

Nicholas Castellanos had some success while ending the 2017 campaign. He’s looking to continue from that late-season success.

The Tigers traded away Ian Kinsler during the off-season. Rob Low writes about who will fill his gap at second base this year.
