Detroit Tigers Minor League Game Reviews 5-30

Toledo beat Syracuse 12-7. Box Score

On the offensive side, Ronny Rodriguez went 5-6 with two home runs and five RBIs. He also scored four runs, while hitting a double and a triple. Mikie Mahtook went 2-5 with a double and a steal.  Jason Krizan went 2-4 with a double and a home run. He also had four RBIs and one run. On the mound, Josh Turley notched the win as the knuckleball pitcher went five innings while striking out two batters.

Erie lost to Binghampton 7-3. Box Score

On the offensive side, Jake Robson went 2-4 with one steal. Kody Eaves as well went 2-4 with a steal. Jake Rogers went 1-4 with an RBI. Meanwhile, on the mound, Spencer Trumbull went for 5.2 innings. The Tigers prospect struck out seven batters but gave up five hits on the day.

Lakeland beat Tampa 3-2. Box Score

On the offensive side, Cam Gibson went 1-4 with a home run and an RBI. Isaac Paredes went 2-4 with an RBI. On the mound, Tom de Blok pitched six innings of work. The righty struck out three batters but gave one up a home run to Tampa.

West Michigan’s game was suspended after four innings due to rain but was up against Dayton 7-0. Box Score

Cole Peterson went 1-3 with two RBIs. Dylan Rosa went 1-1 with a home run and four RBIs. Garrett McCain went 2-3. On the mound, Jesus Rodriguez was the only pitcher going for four innings of work. He fanned four batters and gave up just one hit.
