Detroit Tigers Minor League Reviews 6-2

Toledo Beat Lehigh Valley 8-7. Box Score

Offensively, Mike Gerber went 1-5 with a double. Dawel Lugo went 2-5 with a double and an RBI. Jim Adduci went 2-4 with an RBI. Jarod Saltalamacchia went 1-3 with a home run and three RBIs. On the mound, Tyler Alexander was credited with the win. Alexander pitched five innings where he struck out three batters while giving up six runs on ten hits.

Erie lost to Akron in extra innings 4-5. Box Score

On the offensive side, Jake Robson went 2-5. Will Maddox went 1-5. Dominic Ficociello went 1-4 with an RBI. Sergio Alcantara went 1-4 with an RBI. On the mound, Beau Burrows was given the nod to start the game. Burrows pitched 6.2 innings fanning six batters and giving up one home run along the way. As well he gave up three runs on three hits.

Lakeland lost to Daytona 9-6. Box Score

On the offensive side of the board, Luke Burch went 2-5 with an RBI.  Isaac Paredes went 2-5 with a double. Zac Shephard went 2-4 with a home run and four RBIs. On the mound, Eudis Idrogo started the game. Idrogo pitched five innings of work. Along the way, he fanned four batters and gave up a home run. He also gave up two runs on three hits.

West Michigan lost to Bowling Green 7-2. Box Score

On the offensive side, Cole Peterson went 1-4. Jordan Pearce went 2-3 with a home run and an RBI. Dylan Rosa went 1-4. Bryan Policelli went 0-4 with an RBI. On the mound, Dane Meyers picked up the loss. Meyers pitched 5.1 innings of work. He struck out two batters and gave up two home runs. He also allowed five runs on seven hits.

DSL Tigers1 lost to DSL Phillies White 6-2. Box Score

On the offensive side, Esney Chacon went 2-4. Alvaro Gonzalez went 2-4. Pedro Garcia went 2-4 as well but also notched a triple. On the mound, Jose Pina was credited with the loss. Pina pitched 2.2 innings where he struck out one and gave up four runs on two hits.
