Over at the Athletic are a couple articles worth reading. First, Katie Strang looks at the Franklin Perez injury and what it means for the Tigers (Subscription Required). Perez was the prized chip in last seasons trade that sent Justin Verlander to the Astros.  Secondly, Emily Waldon breaks down the Tigers top ten shortstop prospects (Subscription Required). With the Tigers expressing no long-term faith in Jose Iglesias, the shortstop position is going to be interesting during the rebuild.
