Minor League Notes

Matt Manning made his Double-A debut last night with Erie. Manning impressed in his first outing with the team. Manning threw six scoreless innings while giving up just three hits and a walk. He also fanned eight batters during his outing. The effort was good enough to give Manning a no-decision despite the loss on Erie’s part.

Reliver Zac Houston has been impressive this season while pitching with Triple-A Toledo. Saturday, teams are expanding their roster to 40-men and many are calling up prospects.
