The Detroit Tigers have announced their regular season schedule for the 2020 season. Games will begin in late March and go through September.

The 2020 season schedules have been announced by the MLB and that includes the schedule for the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers will begin next year’s season on March 26 at Cleveland against their division rivals, the Cleveland Indians and end the season on September 27 against another division rival, the Chicago White Sox.

This season, teams from the American League Central division will face off against the National League West teams in interleague play. This means the Tigers will go up against the San Diego Padres, the Colorado Rockies, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the San Francisco Giants, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Assuming the league doesn’t change all that much, these will be tough games for Detroit.

Detroit also has a couple of two-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second half of the season. One of these will be in Detroit and the other in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has struggled over the last few seasons, so Detroit may be able to capitalize on these games if they are in a position to contend.

The 2020 all-star break will go from Monday, July 13 to Thursday, July 16 with the all-star game taking place on Tuesday, July 14. This event will take place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and will also include the home run derby and celebrity all-star game.

The 2019 season is coming to a close and the Tigers can begin to look forward to the 2020 season. While their schedule is going to be tough, it will be a good opportunity to continue rebuilding towards a championship team. Hopefully, Detroit will be able to pick up some wins and provide their fans with some good memories along the way.
