The Detroit Tigers continued their road trip undefeated with a 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals last night. That winning behavior appeared to be contagious as Toledo, Erie, and Lakeland all were victorious last night.

Triple-A: Toledo Mud Hens (6-9)
The Mud Hens won their second in a row with a 3-2 victory over Columbus. Yariel Gonzalez hit his second home run in his last three games. Derek Hill went 2-for-4 with a triple and Rony Garcia had a strong start, going 5.2 innings, allowing two hits, one run walked, allowed a pair of walks, and struck out eight.
After trailing most of the game 1-0, Gonzalez’s two-run home run put the Mud Hens ahead in the 7th. In the 9th, Nolan Jones tied the game with a home run off Wladimir Pinto but the Mud Hens loaded the bases in the ninth that set up this moment for Brady Policelli.

Double-A: Erie SeaWolves (12-4)
The SeaWolves keep rolling, winning their fifth in a row with a 5-4 victory over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Riley Greene had an RBI double and Dylan Rosa tied the game in the 8th with his second home run of the season.

The bullpen threw 4.1 innings of hitless relief and Jacob Robson continues to rake in Erie, going 3-for-5 on the evening.
High-A: West Michigan Whitecaps (7-7)
The Whitecaps were postponed due to rain. They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Low-A: Lakeland Flying Tigers (8-8)
The Flying Tigers relied on the long ball for their 9-2 victory over the Bradenton Marauders last night as Eric De La Rosa hit his second home run and Gage Workman hit the first home run of his professional career.
