Ladies gentleman, it is time. Spring is just around the corner...no, seriously. Ignore the foot of snow that's outside your window and the single-digit temperatures. Spring is almost here. Want to know how we know this? The Detroit Tigers just released their dates for spring training.

That's right. It's almost that time of year. This offseason may be slow right now, but it has flown by. This time next month, we'll be seeing videos of pitchers and catchers playing catch. What a beautiful sight that will be.

So when are these dates? Let's find out together, shall we?

When do pitchers and catchers report?

According to Evan Woodbery of MLive, pitchers and catchers report to Lakeland on Feb. 14. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. Enjoy the sights and sounds of baseball on that day. We'll be counting down the days until then.

When is the first full-squad workout?

The first full-squad workout will be Feb. 19. Everyone has to report by then, regardless of position. There may a few stragglers with visa issues and whatnot, but for the most part, everyone should be there.

When is the first spring training game?

The Tigers will open Grapefruit League play on Feb. 24 against the Yankees. No word yet on whether that'll be televised, though the first game usually isn't. Bally Sports Detroit usually doesn't televise games until the first week on March.

When a full spring training TV schedule is released, we'll have that for you. We'll give you more details as well when those become available. Strap in, folks. Baseball is almost here.
