Baseball America—OF Wyatt Langford, Florida

And we're back on the Langford train. It makes sense given all the reasons we've already laid out. It's funny how I said at the beginning of this article that there isn't a consensus pick for the Tigers, because that makes three of the four mock drafts that we went over today mocking Langford to the Tigers.

Baseball America spent much of the time comparing Langford and Crews. Here's some of what they had to say ($$$):

"Perhaps the biggest true separator between Langford and Crews is the additional prep history teams have of Crews and one full season of SEC performance data. Outside of that it’s similar. If you want a bit more pure speed and a tick more raw power, you could lean Langford, and if you want the center field profile and longer track record go Crews. Either way Detroit is getting an impact player."

Carlos Collazo, Baseball America

Again, you really can't go wrong if you're the Tigers here. You're going to be getting a good player no matter what,

It's worth noting that every one of these mock drafts had Crews going 1:1 to the Pirates and LSU SP Paul Skenes going 1:2 to the Washington Nationals. If Skenes goes in the top two, that would be ideal for the Tigers so they could ensure they have the choice of the bats they want.
