As the Detroit Tigers continue their impossible run toward clinching their first playoff berth in 10 years, they have picked up a lot of new fans along the way. Their biggest fan, however, could actually be playing for them by 2025.

Max Clark, the Tigers' consensus top prospect, has taken to social media of late to express his excitement during the Tigers' stretch run. He was especially active as he watched Detroit's 7-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday, live posting during the game. He even interacted with the Tigers team account as well as fans and Bally Sports Detroit play-by-play broadcaster Jason Benetti.

Clark's excitement is palpable, mirroring that of the rest of the Tigers fanbase. He posted multiple times in all caps, celebrating home runs by Spencer Torkelson and Parker Meadows. He hyped up the fans inside Comerica Park, posting "this city is going CRAZY man."

Clark is all in on the Tigers down the stretch. He's just like us.

First-round pick Max Clark is the Tigers' No. 1 prospect as well as their No. 1 fan

Clark just wrapped up his first full season of pro ball, finishing with a .279/.372/.421 slash line across two levels in the Tigers' farm system. He slashed .286/.386/.421 with seven homers, three triples and 11 doubles over 73 games for Single-A Lakeland before being promoted to High-A West Michigan, where he finished his season hitting .264/.344/.421 with 10 doubles, three triples and a pair of homers in 34 games.

Selected by the Tigers at No. 3 overall in the 2023 MLB Draft, Clark has since soared to the top of the prospect charts. He is the Tigers' No. 1 overall prospect and the No. 5 prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline, and Baseball America named him the Tigers' Minor League Player of the Year for 2024. The 19-year-old outfielder is widely regarded as having one of the most well-rounded tool sets in the minor leagues, and he has all the makings of a future MLB superstar for the Tigers. When the time comes, he'll bring a new dynamic to this young roster with his speed (29 stolen bases this year) and range-y defense. Imagine him alongside Parker Meadows in the outfield? They won't miss covering an inch of ground.

In the meantime, though, he will undoubtedly continue to cheer them on as their biggest fan. The Magic Number is down to two.
