Miguel Cabrera's 500th career home run

This is likely the one that you're all here for. The 500th home run chase in 2021 was something that will be remembered by Tigers fans for a lifetime.

It felt like he was stuck on 499 forever. No pitcher wanted to be the one to give up the 500th homer. Miggy would get walked often during this stretch, but he would joke that he didn't mind because it raised his on-base percentage.

In the sixth inning, he came up to bat against Blue Jays' lefty Steven Matz. He got the count to 1-1 before he finally did it.

The pitch wasn't even a strike, and he drove it the opposite way for a homer. Just a classic Miguel Cabrera swing.

He had finally done it. 500 career home runs. The only thing that would have made it better was if he had done it at home.

Luckily, he went on to record his 3,000th career hit at Comerica Park, so Tigers fans didn't have to go far to see one of his biggest milestones.

It's crazy that Miguel Cabrera's storied career is finally coing to an end. We hope you enjoyed reliving all of his milestone home runs as much as we did.
