Welcome To Miggy Month at Motor City Bengals

Detroit Tigers' DH Miguel Cabrera will be retiring at the end of the 2023 season. With only one month to go this season, we figured we'd take the opportunity to celebrate the career of a future hall-of-famer.

September will be Miggy Month here at Motor City Bengals. Throughout the month, we will look back at some of Miggy's best moments in celebration of his impending retirement.

We're going to look back at some of his best moments in a Tigers uniform, and there's a lot of them. There's even quite a few from the past five years, where he hasn't been at his best.

Readers can expect lots of countdowns, lists, look-backs, and even a few what-ifs. It's going to be a fun final month of the season here on the site.

There will still be other content on the site, but Miggy will be the primary focus as we wind down the 2023 season. It's hard to believe it's almost over.

Miguel Cabrera will go down as one of, if not the best player to ever put on a Detroit Tigers uniform. Say what you will about the back half of this current contract, but his peak was unrivaled. It's only appropriate that we look back and pay our respects to one of the best to ever do it before we finally say goodbye.
