John Bale, Scot Drucker Among Tigers Minor League Cuts

The Detroit Tigers trimmed the organizational roster this morning, announcing a round of players that have been released. Right hander Scot Drucker, who was kind enough to give us some of his time earlier this month, announced his own release via twitter this morning. Best of luck to you, Scot.

In addition to Drucker, the Tigers parted ways with left handed reliever John Bale, whom had been in camp and battling for a spot in Detroit’s bullpen. Bale was signed to a minor league deal in the offseason after spending some time in Japan. This is just me speculating, but I wonder if his release didn’t come by request so that he might pursue opportunities to earn more money overseas again.

The rest of the moves, via TigsTown’s Mark Anderson:

"Tigers have released Wilfredo Ramirez, Kyle Bloom, Yadiel Polanco, Ariel Medina, Brandon Tripp, Chris White, Matt Mansilla…. have also released Pat McKenna. Andy Bouchie has retired."
