Detroit Tigers Announce Spring Training TV Schedule

According to Tanya Moutzalias of MLive, the Detroit Tigers have announced the dates of five spring training games that will be televised:

"Detroit’s game against he Philadelphia Phillies will be nationally televised on ESPN on March 27. The game is at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Fla.Fox Sports Detroit will air the Tigers’ March 4 and March 21 games against the Houston Astros, and March 19 against the Tampa Bay Rays, all home games. Fox Sports Detroit also will carry the Tigers’ game against the Miami Marlins in Jupiter."

Moutzalias also notes that MLB Network could also choose to broadcast games, but those games wouldn’t be announced until a later date.

In addition to the televised games, 35 games are planned to be broadcast via the Tigers radio network affiliates.
