Rain, Rain, Go Away!

An off-season of waiting for baseball is down to one day, or is it?

Tomorrow is opening day, maybe.

The calendar and the weather may have differing opinions on when the Detroit Tigers will actually begin their 2011 season.

Tomorrow’s forecast for the Bronx isn’t looking too much like the boys of summer should be coming out of hibernation just yet. However, temperatures in the mid to low 40s won’t do anything to squash anyone’s excitement, as long as it doesn’t delay the arrival of regular season baseball.

To make matters worse, the home opener is now within view of the extended 10 day forecast and the weather isn’t looking any better for the Tigers’ homecoming.
