Detroit Tigers Square Off – The Dave’s Take the First Round

The Dave’s – Holcomb and Price that is, took the first Motor City Bengals Square Off.  The debate?  Who was the best pitcher to have on your team – David Price or Max Scherzer?

Mitzel and Scherzer gave it their all.  Mitzel added a hefty twitter campaign getting the likes of our sister site – District on Deck and their editors/writers on boards, tweeting Max himself and even Jose Bautista.  Max gave it his all pitching a no hitter and  a near perfect game.

Congratulations Mr. Holcomb on your first victory.  You had all the Detroit Tigers homers rallying for you and made it a bit easier even though your margin on the 107 votes was only eleven votes winning 55% to 45%.

Thank you all to those who made our first square off a success and Dave would like to thank Jose Tabata for a cheap break up of a perfect game!  (Couldn’t help myself Dave)
