When We Last Met
The Detroit Tigers are facing the Kansas City Royals for the second time in as many weeks. They fared much better against the Royals last week at Comerica Park.
Detroit has scored just one run in the first two games of the series at Kauffman Stadium and will have to win on Wednesday to avoid a sweep. Coming into the series, the Tigers were 5-5 against the Royals this season, but they have been outscored 10-1 in the first two games this week.
Pitching Matchup
Left-hander Daniel Norris will be making his third start with the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.
