Detroit Tigers Live Stream vs Oakland Athletics 4/28/16: Watch Online
By Ben Rosener

Detroit Tigers fans will be hoping for another win on Thursday, as the team wraps up a four-game series against the American League West’s Oakland Athletics. Anibal Sanchez will oppose Chris Bassitt.
Detroit Tigers players continued to break out of the team’s offensive slump with a 9-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday. After winning the series opener on Monday, the Tigers have a chance to take three out of four games against the A’s.
Hopefully, Anibal Sanchez can get back on track versus an anemic Oakland offense that has been tamed by both Jordan Zimmermann and Justin Verlander. The right-hander has struggled at times this season, as evidenced by his 7.00 ERA in 18 innings pitched. Sanchez has improved his strikeouts per nine innings to an 8.5 number, but he should have a much larger gap between total strikeouts (17) and runs allowed (16).
The former Marlin could be getting some serious run support against the Athletics. Brad Ausmus’ new-look lineup features J.D. Martinez hitting second and Justin Upton moving down in the order to bat fifth. The lineup combined for nine runs on Wednesday, and they could score even more with Jarrod Saltalamacchia returning to action after a day off.
