Detroit Tigers baseball returns on Tuesday. The team continues the 2017 regular season at home against the Kansas City Royals. Here’s what you need to know to watch.

Detroit Tigers players will look to start a successful home stand on Tuesday as the team returns from a brutal seven-game road trip.

All told, the Tigers finished with just one victory on the trip after being swept in Seattle and losing two out of three in San Diego.

The team was in most of the games, but they could quite string any wins together.

Now, the team returns home for the beginning of a 10 game home stand against the Kansas City Royals, Cleveland and the San Francisco Giants.

Despite the toad trip, Detroit did end things on a positive note with a 7-5 win over the Padres.

After Jordan Zimmermann allowed six hits, five runs, three walks and two home runs in four innings, he made way for the bullpen.

The five relievers only allowed two hits and a walk, while striking out a total of seven batters. Stumpf, Rondon and Justin Wilson accounted for two punch outs apiece.
