Detroit Tigers baseball returns on Saturday as the team continues its latest road trip against the Baltimore Orioles. Here’s what you need to know to watch.

Detroit Tigers players will look to earn another victory on Saturday as they take on the Orioles in Baltimore.

The Tigers took the first game of the four-game with a 7-5 victory on Thursday. That was followed with an entertaining 5-2 win on Friday for Detroit.

Justin Verlander was excellent, earning his seventh win on the campaign. The hurler struck out 10 in seven innings, limiting Baltimore to just six hits and a pair of solo home runs.

Said home runs, which came off the bat of shortstop Tim Beckham and third baseman Manny Machado in the second and third innings respectively, gave the O’s a 2-1 lead following Jim Adduci’s first-run solo shot for the Tigers.

The game would stay at 2-1 until the eighth when singles from Jose Iglesias and James McCann, coupled with an Adduci walk, loaded the bases for Justin Upton.

Upton didn’t miss a first pitch off-speed offering from Baltimore reliever Mychal Givens, depositing it well into the left field seats for his 20th long ball of the season.

The lead would hold up for the suddenly-scorching Tigers, who have won four in a row and six of seven. Alex Wilson and Bruce Rondon combined to keep Baltimore scoreless the rest of the way.

Wilson notched a perfect inning on just eighth pitches, while Rondon worked around a hit while striking out two to earn his first save of the season.
