Detroit Tigers baseball returns on Tuesday as the team continues a road trip with a contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game.

Detroit Tigers players will look to rebound on Tuesday as the team faces the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second game of a four-game stretch versus the National League Central franchise.

The Tigers are playing two games in Pittsburgh on Monday and Tuesday before both teams travel to the Motor City for a pair of games on Wednesday and Thursday.

Most recently, Detroit dropped the series opener on Monday by a final score of 3-0.

The Tigers, who are still just six games back of the second Wild Card spot, managed only one hit and two walks against Pittsburgh.

Offensively, catcher James McCann, registered the team’s only hit, while also stealing a base. Right fielder Andrew Romine and left fielder Justin Upton drew walks for Detroit. However, the team couldn’t back up a solid start from Jordan Zimmermann.

The veteran scattered five hits, three runs and three walks over seven frames. He struck out two while allowing a home run.

Reliever Alex Wilson came on to pitch after Zimmermann, striking out one in a scoreless inning.
