When it comes to his Tigers fandom, Eli's been a passionate fan of Detroit since the age of 4 and his favorite Tiger growing up was Magglio Ordonez. If you ever need a conversation starter with him, just bring up Ordonez's 2006 ALCS walk off home run that sent Detroit to the World Series. The conversations will flow easily from there.
